UFH and Fibre Screed in Virginia Water, Surrey.

This screeding contract required 60mm traditional fibre screed layed on top of underfloor heating (UFH) for 9 houses in Virginia Water in Surrey, UK. UFH manufacturers and suppliers generally recommend a screed depth of 60mm+ to use with their systems. This is also the standard depth for traditional sand and cement screed. This depth does not inhibit the flow of heat from a UFH system.

  • Location: Virginia Water, Surrey

  • Quantity: 430 meters squared. Ground floor for 9 houses.

  • Product: Insulation provided by client. 60mm of traditional sand and cement screed incorporating PP fibres and perimeter edging strip.
